Gateway
of India:
Conceived as a triumphal arch to commemorate the visit
of King George V and the Queen Mary in 1911, the Gateway of India is one
of the last monuments built by the British in Bombay.
The
Prince of Wales Museum:
Built between 1904 and 1914, this
mid-Victorian Gothic Style Building houses a priceless collection of art &
sculpture.
Mahalakhmi Race Course:
India's Ascot sees
racing enthusiastic from November to April, during the racing season.
Sanjay
Gandhi National Park:
Lions Antelopes, Deer and wild Bear. You'll
find all this and more in this park, located at Borivali in North Mumbai.
The park also has a 'Lion Safari'.
Kanheri Caves:
Located
near the Sanjay Gandhi National Park, these caves have amazing Buddhist
sculptures & paintings dating back to the end of 2nd century to the
middle of the 9th century AD.
Marve and Manori Beaches:
Located
in North Mumbai, these beautiful beaches have unspoilt stretches of sand
and fishing communities.
